We pull it out to show visitors, and it's been beautiful to read through it and find out about who lived here and the different stages of the buildings’ life.”

What types of houses is it for?

The Premium house history package is for any historic property built before 1920. The combination of online and archival research provides the best chance of uncovering the fullest possible history of a property, as archives provide access to many records not available online, such as manorial records and deeds.

Your Premium House History will cover details of:

  • When your house was built (which may be approximate, depending on the available evidence) and how it has changed over time.

  • The house’s owners and occupants and stories of their lives in the house.

  • Local history and events which shaped the house and its occupants.

Finding out the history of the place has made things make sense in the house… I feel that I'm almost in touch with the people that lived here.’
